I have bought my first ever DSLR yesterday! Presenting to you Canon EOS Digital 40D!

 
Armed with Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 lens

Spent $2,458 in total (including CF card, camera bag, spare battery, etc.) I guess it’s money well-spent!

I realise people do wrong thing despite knowing it is wrong to do so. And they regret for doing things they had done. Why only regret when damage has been done? Human nature, I reckon.

People may ask: Regretted? You sure? Why the same thing is happening over and over again?

I guess it is good if people learn from mistakes, and not repeating mistakes over and over again. It is important to do it like they meant it, not just by saying it. Talk is cheap, do it!

Canon EOS 450D (low-$1,000 range)

Canon EOS 40D (high-$1,000 range)

Wonder should I jump straight into semi-pro camera (40D) buy lenses at a later time or start from base (450D) and get some lenses to play around. Or should I just stick to my 3 years old Canon Powershot S2 IS for another period of time?

Went Phuture to celebrate Ricky’s birthday yesterday. It’s been like don’t know how long since I last went clubbing, and it’s been even longer since I last went Phuture! Went as a poly class gathering so there’s quite a number of us.

All who were present! (except zicheng he came late)

After not drinking for like 8 months due to medication, I finally can touch alcohol again without worries. I didn’t really say drink alot so I’m still sober and un-drunk after whole night ends though kind of dizzy. Let me see: 1 large bottle of Heineken, 1 + 1/4 jug of screwdriver, 1.5 small bottle of Heineken and 2 glasses of Chivas green tea. Maybe if I followed Alex and Ricky to down that Flaming Lamborghini, I may merlion like Alex. Kind of like the dizzy feeling, feels like floating. LOL

Wonder when will be the day I get my first drunk experience. I wouldn’t want to experience it!
